Maptun Stage 3 Tune for 2003+ Saab 9-3 2.0T (B207 engine, T8 ECU)

Please read the entire listing before purchasing and refer to the video here for how the bench tuning process will work. 

This is an off-the-shelf Maptun tune file installed using Maptun software and handheld tuner. More information about the tune can be found here on Maptun's site. 

Stage 3 power levels are as follows (USA cars):

• B207R (2003-2005 Arc/Aero, all 2006+ cars): 265hp and 280ft/lbs, a +55hp and +59ft/lbs gain
• B207L (2003-2005 Linear): 235hp and 269ft/lbs, a +60hp and +74ft/lbs gain
  

Modifications required prior to tuning (B207R):

• Complete performance exhaust - downpipe and cat-back (Maptun, Genuine Saab, custom, etc.)
• High flow air filter/intake (do88, K&N, etc.)

Modifications required prior to tuning (B207L):

• Performance cat-back exhaust (Maptun, Genuine Saab, custom, etc.)
• High flow air filter/intake (do88, K&N, etc.)
• Fuel injector wiring harness (depending on year - see Maptun's site for information)

This is a bench tuning service, meaning your ECU will be mailed to me for tuning, per the video linked above, and mailed back to you with a fresh Maptun file and a power increase. Your stock file will be saved and can be switched back at any time by mailing the ECU back to me.

Goals for turnaround times are next day after the ECU has been received, but may vary slightly based on holidays or other factors.

After purchase, you will receive an email with information on where to ship the ECU. Please include your name, VIN, ECU, and stage requested in the box. You can also include your VIN in the notes at checkout. 

When shipping your ECU, please ensure it is packed with care. Use bubble wrap or other products to protect the ECU to ensure the connector pins do not get bent. Return shipping is free.

Maptun tunes have been used on thousands of Saabs without issue and are very safe for the engine/car, without causing any shortage of lifespan. Please ensure your car is running properly (no misfires, check engine light, etc.) before purchasing a tune.

Bench tuning is ONLY available for NG 9-3 2.0t/T cars with the T8 ECU. This means that if your car does not have the same ECU shown in this listing, bench tuning is not currently offered. Please contact me if you are interested in tuning a non T8 Saab (OG 9-3, 9-5, V6 NG 9-3, etc.), which can be done locally in Phoenix, AZ.

Flex fuel/E85 tunes are also available. Please contact me to discuss prior to purchase.
